Check IP propagation.

See which public DNS servers around the world currently return for a hostname. Choose a record type; A is the default. This shows resolver caches, not a ping from those cities.

Record type

Looks up the selected record type against a fixed list of public resolvers. Private, local, and reserved hostnames are blocked. PTR lookups accept a public IP address.

We query public DNS servers with the hostname you entered. We do not store the lookup beyond a short cache and anonymised usage counts.
